Bambrella has been producing the industry’s highest-quality bamboo umbrellas since 1996. Today, Bambrella employs unique, patented designs and innovative technology to manufacture thoughtfully designed, durable, and long-lasting bamboo and aluminum patio umbrellas. All Bambrella bamboo umbrellas have been wind-tunnel-tested up to 90km/h (gale force), and all aluminum umbrellas have been tested up to speeds of 121km/h (hurricane force).

After years of research and rigorous testing, Bambrella discovered that Moso bamboo was the only species suitable for outdoor use. Unlike other bamboo species, Moso bamboo features smaller and more tightly condensed fiber strands, similar to those found in fine-grained hardwoods like teak. This high-quality bamboo is resistant to mold and mildew and is the only bamboo that can be processed and treated for outdoor use.

Bambrella’s patented joint system enables production to hot press and glue long lengths of laminations, resulting in incomparable quality. What’s more, independent laboratory testing has been conducted for mold and mildew defense and de-lamination prevention, ensuring that Bambrella products will last outdoors for years to come.

Not only are Bambrella’s bamboo umbrellas beautiful and extremely robust, but they’re also environmentally conscious. Bambrella® is a certificate holder in the Forest Stewardship Council

(FSC®) scheme, and they work to source bamboo through FSC® certified forests. Bamboo is the fastest-growing plant on earth, and it’s sustainable, renewable, non-toxic, and non-hazardous to the environment. It’s also naturally strong, offering superior density, strength, and hardness compared to most hardwoods.

All the materials used in the production of Bambrella umbrellas are 100% recyclable. Bambrella also prioritizes the use of environmentally conscious materials and methods in the production and packaging of its products.

Bambrella recommends that all parasols are closed when not in use, and always ensure that parasols are tied, or strapped closed in windy conditions. This is to protect both parasol and people from damage, or possible injury. If the parasol becomes wet, open the canopy so they are completely dry prior to closing/storage.

The life of your parasol canopy can be increased by both using a protective cover when not in use and occasional maintenance. It is important that the cover is completely dry before using a Bambrella® protective cover. Fabric life can be extended by simply washing down the cover periodically with warm soapy water using a sponge or soft brush, to remove any dirt or other substances on which mildew may form. Do NOT tumble dry, air dry instead.

Bambrella's standard warranty is 60 months for residential use and 36 months for commercial use with the Levante Range and Infinity Collections. There is a 36 month warranty for both commercial and residential use with the Side Wind Collection and 24 months for residential use with the Sirocco Collection. The period of warranty is calculated from the date of purchase. This is in addition to any of the rights the customer may have in law. This warranty is not intended to modify or limit such rights.
